Well i thought i would start this blog a little earlier as we have some new perminant guests staying with us...we ordered our first lot of bee's a couple of months back and they turned up today :) the hives they are moving into had already been put together and placed in the positions at the bottom of the garden

 We cleared the area by cutting some branches away as well

Well the bee's arived wednesday 22nd June in 2 boxes taped together with our local postman...his face was a picture as you could hear them all buzzing quite loudly lol well after chatting to him about bees i took the warm and buzzing box indoors. Now what to do...luckily instructions come with the bee's which said to put the nucleus where the hives ard open the flaps to allow bee's to forage for 24 hours...
